Student Affairs Administrators Present at SYSU

Wednesday, January 20, 2016

IUPUI administrators and leaders visited Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) in December 2015 to both learn from and assist student affairs personnel at SYSU, a public university of about 22,000 undergraduate and 14,000 graduate students. The visit included spending time with SYSU student leaders as well.

Vice Chancellor Zeb Davenport  was accompanied by IUPUI administrators Sara Dickey, Aaron Hart, Joseph Hayes and Sandra Lemons.

The trip was also a quick visit home for Jing Zhao, a visiting scholar from SYSU, who will be completing a yearlong assignment at IUPUI in March 2016.

The consensus observation of the IUPUI campus leaders was that helping students outside the classroom is the same whether you are in America or halfway across the world.
