Create your IUPUI Technology Account
Set up your IUPUI Technology Account to access all the systems you will use as a student. These systems will give you access to pay your tuition bill, check your IUPUI email, take your placement assessments, register for classes, and much more. Create your account here >>
You'll need your 10-digit university ID number, found on your IUPUI admissions letter.
If you need help with technology at IUPUI or have forgotten your username or passphrase contact University Information Technology Services, or UITS.
Indianapolis housing has a variety of prices, locations, and features. Whether you want to live in IUPUI housing or off campus, make sure to arrange your housing early. Many students arrange housing before their visa appointment!
Students should look for and apply for housing as soon as possible after they are admitted to ensure their accomodations prior to arrival in Indianapolis. Learn more about housing options here»

Begin your Pre-Arrival Checklist on iStart

Complete your Pre-Arrival Online Orientation
Preparing for your arrival at IUPUI can be daunting with all of the tasks to be completed and information you need to remember.
Take some time to make your transition easier, prior to your arrival at IUPUI, by going through the Pre-Arrival Online Orientation at the following link: https://launch.iupui.edu
Please complete this step prior to your in-person orientation at IUPUI.
Understand your Immunizations Requirements
All IUPUI students are required to show proof of immunization within the first semester of their academic career. Read about the immunization requirements.
Students are encouraged to acquire immunizations as early as possible either prior to their arrival in Indianapolis or shortly after arrival at one of two IUPUI Student Health locations. Learn more about IUPUI Student Health.
Learn about your Tuition Due Dates and Payment Options
The IUPUI Office of the Bursar will create your electronic tuition and fees bill each month.

Review how to Register for Classes
Registering for classes is a simple process and depends on your student type.
Undergraduate students will register for classes at Academic Orientation. See your Orientation schedule>>
Graduate Student must contact their academic department for information about course registration.
Exchange Students will register for classes with their academic advisor prior to arriving in Indianapolis or during Orientation Week. Exchange students are encouraged to:

Prepare to Travel to Indianapolis
Check your letter of admission for your expected arrival date, and make sure you book your flight accordingly. You should book a connecting flight all the way to Indianapolis International Airport (not Chicago) from your home country. Be sure to make housing arrangements prior to arriving in Indianapolis.
