Lugar Center Selects Three for Exchange Visitor Student Intern Program
(May 24) Under the J-1 Exchange Visitor Student Intern program, three undergraduate Chemical Engineering students from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will spend 2-1/2 months at the Lugar Center at IUPUI.

Nearly 2,000 to run for peace in Kenya
(March 25) Nearly 2,000 people will run for peace Sept. 28 in Eldoret, Kenya, in a peace run organized by Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Moi University, and Athletics Kenya, in an area that was rocked by violence five years ago following a controversial Kenyan presidential election.
Wine to Water charity founder Doc Hendley to speak at IUPUI on April 1
(March 13) Doc Hendley, founder of the charitable organization Wine to Water, will speak at IUPUI on April 1, kicking off Earth Month activities on campus. The presentation is also part of the Efroymson Lectures on International Art, Culture and Heritage and a Greening IUPUI grant.
ACE Internationalization Laboratory
In coordination with the strategic planning process IUPUI launched fall 2012, our campus is participating in a two-year planning process with the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Internationalization Laboratory, 2012–2014.
IUPUI International Student Enrollment Up 10 Percent
(September 6) Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has enrolled a record 1,602 international students, up 10 percent from last year. Nearly two-thirds of the international students are from China, India or Saudi Arabia.
