Why did you become a mentor: I became a mentor because I understand the struggles that international students go through in their first year of college without anyone to show them the ropes or avoid mistakes. This made it convincingly clear that I want to help new students have a smoother transition into college (IUPUI of course) than I did.

Bio: I was born and raised in Nigeria, I graduated high school at a very young age and attended college for 3 years before I had the opportunity to study in Indiana. I am from a family of 6 with me being the only boy and the last child, that doesn’t make me spoilt :D. I become very competitive when it comes to sports and video games. I always find a sense of pride in learning, which is why I challenge myself to learn something new every day.

Favorite spot on campus: My favorite spot on campus is tied between the game room and the water fountain close to the library.

Favorite thing about IUPUI: My favorite thing about IUPUI is the diversity of students.
