Peer Mentoring
Global Voice Speakers
The Global Voices Speakers Program (GVSP) is an IUPUI campus resource created to support the internationalization of the IUPUI curriculum, and to provide a means for International students to be actively involved in campus academic affairs.
GVSP volunteers are IUPUI graduate and undergraduate international students interested in sharing their knowledge and viewpoints in classroom discussions, panels, or formal presentations, with the goal of infusing an international element into the curriculum. Faculty and staff may work together with GVSP volunteers to create an interactive inter-cultural experience for their students.
Peer Mentoring
The International Peer Mentoring Program recruits new mentors each Spring semester to participate assist and support newly admitted international students. After a spring training program, mentors work on teams to provide support for new students prior to arrival and throughout their first year of study at IUPUI. See http://international.iupui.edu/volunteer/peer-mentoring/ for further details.
