International Partnerships

International Strategic Partnerships

A strategic partnership spreads across multiple units or schools, enabling IUPUI to concentrate resources for its international work. These partnerships are created in collaboration with students, staff and faculty across the campus, and — equally important — in partnership with the surrounding communities.

Strategic Partnerships Underway

• IUPUI-MOI University, Kenya: IUPUI's first strategic partnership was signed November 8, 2006 at Moi University.
• Sun Yat-sen University, China: The Confucius Institute in Indianapolis was approved through the joint efforts of Sun Yat-sen University and IUPUI.
• Mexico: We are establishing a partnership between IUPUI and Hidalgo University, building on the long-term partnership with the state of Hidalgo in the village of Calnali.
