Tax Assistance for IUPUI's International Students and Scholars

Each year, the Office of International Affairs provides the following services to help you comply with U.S. tax reporting and filing requirements:

• free access to tax preparation software for international students and scholars who are nonresidents for tax purposes;
  
  
• tax form preparation workshops led by OIA staff and state tax agency employees to help you comply with U.S. tax reporting requirements;
  
  
• basic, general information about tax filing requirements to assist you in determining your tax filing obligations; and
  
  
• referrals to external sources of assistance if the basic services offered do not meet your needs.

These pages are updated in February of each year. The tax filing deadline each year is April 15.
