Safety and Security at IUPUI
IUPUI maintains a highly trained campus police force that works closely with the Indianapolis Police Department to provide 24-hour security. Officers patrol the campus by car, on foot, by bicycle, and on horseback, depending on the season. A free escort service provides transportation or a walking escort at night to any part of the campus. Despite more than 10,000 students, staff, and visitors coming each day to the campus, serious incidents are very rare.
